Oh my god, how refreshing. A girl with curves. And not those curves they try to tell you are curves but they’re really just Gisele Bundchen’s hipbones photographed in a flattering light and the glimpse of one of her tiny side-boobs. Never heard of her before, but I guess this chick is pretty well-known for being a “plus-sized” model who was actually allowed to appear on runways in designer clothes and photographed in Vogue and stuff. Maybe I’ve had my head in the sand, and maybe I’m too much of a cynic, but can we just drop the labels and call her a model like everyone else? I fucking hate the term “plus-sized.” It’s so demeaning. And not because it means fat. But because it infers that you’re getting something extra. Like a bonus. But we all know what that bonus is. So it’s like we’re dense. Or we’re children and someone’s telling us, hey! This is great! This is a plus! (But really we all think it’s disgusting and wrong and destable to look at.) Quit trying to be polite. We can read between the lines.
